how is this possible? i have gained like 5 lbs!! maybe i should start keeping a food journal or something.
other ways my life is falling apart: i didn't get into teach for america so.. i have to find a real job, but i cant right now because im still in school and have literally NO time to work (even at the dining hall! they wanted 13 hrs a week!) well ive been checking out jobs online and applying like crazy. we'll see
some fun stuff: i registered for classes. i am taking-- individual, marriage and family french fundamentals word power precalc and fieldwork in developmental disabilties

must have been all that bouncing on the balance ball i did yesterday. in all honesty, i just hung around the dorm putting makeup on my residents and then walked over to a staff meeting. maybe its the freezing cold? my body is working really hard to keep me warm.

today i had this saturday morning cartoon program thing at my dorm (im an RA), and since i was running it i felt like i should have some cereal too. ughghg stupid. at least i'd bought fat free milk instead of the whole, like everyone else wanted. honestly, its just going in cereal, what does it matter? anyway, i had a mixture of fruity pebbles, corn pops, and cocoa krisps. i feel so gross. at least my residents had fun with it. hope it doesnt affect me toooo much.
i am also going out to eat with the boy tonight. planning on getting some lean protein grilled with like steamed brocolli. whatever their guiltless grill thing is.

i guess i'm back...sad, right? sad how i cant just live a happy life without worrying about my weight, without waking up each day just a little bit heavier until i eventually stop checking, and when i finally do check again seeing that i've somehow allowed myself to gain a good 30 lbs.
anyway, wednesday i was 164.6 but today i am 169--i think wednesday is going to be my weigh in day, because it is the one day a week i can actually sleep in a little and i dont have class, just work.
a little about where i'm at right now:
im 21 im a senior in college i am 5'5½" i have a boy, who i guess i've been with for like 2 years. when we started dating i was doing really well, confident and happy and feeling pretty. and then i didnt need to focus on my weight much to do that, so i'd neglect it in and now. and here i am...169 .
today i had 4 cans of chicken broth (10 cals per serving, so 20 calories each), and a bunch of celery (apparently about 9 calories??)...and tons of diet soda. i may or may not have this fruit thing that is 100 calories..havent decided yet. if not, im at less than 100 cals for the day.
tomorrow is date night with the boy. we're doing dinner and a movie, so i guess ill have to figure out what im willing to eat.. a salad or whatever, i guess. ill research online.
so i guess im just really looking for some inspiration, some motivation, some support, and some accountability.
i once saw someone set a goal for themselves of -.2 lbs per day. if i were to do that, my goal would be 168.2 on wednesday. i will weigh in tomorrow to check in on my status---i did have a WHOLE LOT of chinese food with the boy yesterday, and who knows when that will be out of me.
i would really like to be 160 for thanksgiving. that means:

I know that a lot of people are into the Starbucks thing. I worked at Barnes and Noble, with a Starbucks cafe in it, so I quickly learned to pick out the least calorically expensive items. Here are some things to compare/contrast:
